Kyle from Keysborough’s Acacia campus is in his second year of his VET Certificate II in Automotive Light Vehicle at Chisholm. He was very interested in the diesel mechanic opportunity with Ventura buses and commenced their recruitment process in January of 2021. It was a lengthy process involving a literacy and numeracy assessment, multiple interviews, a medical, police check and work place trial.

Kyle has remained committed, patient and organized which resulted in him being offered one of the SBAT positions with Ventura buses. He is delighted to now be working part time and is pleased to be able to add to his family’s income.
