Divine was enrolled into the VET Cert II Furniture Making with Keysborough school when she applied to join the HEADSTART program in 2020, she always had her sights set firmly on becoming a Cabinet Maker. She is a very shy quiet petite young lady with a gritty determination and clear focus on her chosen pathway. Divine successfully completed a SWL placement prior to COVID-19 lockdown with Orchid Cabinets. This employer was very impressed with her knowledge and ability as she was able to demonstrate skills associated with a 1^st year apprentice, however the travel was just too far for her to continue with Orchid.

Divine continued to show her commitment to becoming a Cabinet Maker and commenced a SWL placement on 19^th March with Diamond Edge Joinery, Rowville.

The employer had some concerns about her ability initially due to her height and stature, however she has surpassed their expectations and while she continues to be a shy quiet team member, they feel she is integrating well within their workplace. They were therefore delighted to offer her the position with the company and Divine gratefully accepted.

She is the second HEADSTART student to join the team at Diamond Edge, their office manager thanked the Industry Coordinator for providing such high-quality candidates who are wonderful to work with and very respectful.
