Sam is a year 10 student who initially interviewed very strongly and was identified as being work ready.

An employer was sourced for Sam to interview with and both parties were happy to proceed with a trial.

Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions, a work placement trial through the DET could not be arranged and it was negotiated that Sam would be signed up as an apprentice with Marchetti Constructions and the 3 month probationary period used as a trial for both parties, with the intention to continue afterwards.

Sam has remained at Marchetti Constructions post trial and is doing extremely well.
